Civil Discussions: LIGHT CASTS OUT DARKNESS
We must be a light to the world if we want to engage in civil discussions instead of hostile ones. Darkness is the absence of light, and when light shines in the darkness, DARKNESS LOSES. We CAN make certain our conversations are civil. That is not weakness. Civility allows no bullying, yelling, or tantrums. It is inclusive and respectful. Don’t we all want to be civil to one another? In the following video Dan reminds us how to do this and why.
In this series Dan goes beyond communication training into a type of spirituality that mindful people can embrace, regardless of their religious affiliation (or lack of it) or their spiritual orientation.
Watch the video below to learn one more principle for combatting the negativity in today’s conversations about politics, religion, global economics–almost everything. The negativity won’t stop until we replace it with positivity–with light!
Join Dan for the second video in his nine-part series on how to talk to anyone about anything–even in this day and age of negatively charged, divisive political discussion. We need to be properly armed in order to participate positively and change the dialogue and our environment. If you’re tired of feeling drained after every conversation you have about President Trump, about the wall, about jobs, about the Clintons, about the evil United States press, about healthcare, about who is lying and who is telling the truth, about what is reality and what is illusion–this vid’s for you!
